Restore Central Park

Past
Did you know that the "cut-through" hasn't always been there?  Learn the history of our Central Park, and how we came to have to have "two halves."

Present
Is the cut-through still necessary?  Learn about the conditions that have changed to make removal of the cut-through a practical alternative today.

Future
What we want is simple:  remove the 4-lane road that runs through Mansfield's Central Park and replace it with green space.  That's Phase I.  Take a look at some artist's renditions of what the park could look like.

Proof
See what other communities are doing to increase their green space, and their eonomies!  Central Parks play an important role in cities from Milan to Medina in Ohio, and Detroit to New York City nationwide.
